Located at the Legends at the Sparks Marina shopping center, the Chamber houses a full time visitors and tourist information center focused on northern Nevada activities. From outdoor adventures to exciting nightlife and community events, we have you covered. We carry the most comprehensive list of visitors material in Reno/Sparks and serve as a community center for citizens and visitors alike. Animal Ark
The Animal Ark in North Reno provides a wild life experience to visitors and children of all ages. the Animal Ark provides a quality sanctuary for wild animals, many whom are deemed "disadvantaged" who are unable to live in the wild. Fleischmann Planetarium & Science Center
Fleischmann Planetarium is part of the University of Nevada, Reno and Extended Studies. We offer public star shows and large-format films showing daily in our dome theater, and public star observing courtesy of the Astronomical Society of Nevada. Built in 1964 and originally called the “Fleischmann Atmospherium-Planetarium,” we were the first planetarium in the world to project full-dome movies (of time-lapse clouds and weather phenomena). Catch eye popping shows and science films that will change the way you look at movies.

National Automobile Museum
The museum has become a favorite of residents and visitors to northern Nevada. It was named among the top ten museums by Car Collector magazine, and has been ranked one of the best 16 car museums in the world by Autoweek. It has been selected the Best Museum in Northern Nevada year-after-year in Nevada Magazines annual readers poll. See classics from across history and many "one-of-a-kind" models that don't exist anywhere in the world but here. Nevada Museum of Art
The Nevada Museum of Art is the only accredited art museum in the state of Nevada. Recognized for following best practices as outlined by the American Association of Museums, the Museum is committed to continuous institutional improvement and change. With accreditation, the Museum joins the ranks of other significant institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. With evolving collections and exhibitions there is always something new to see at the Nevada Museum of Art.

Rancho San Rafael Regional Park
The park is home to the May attractions which include the Wilbur D. May Museum, Arboretum and the Great Basin Adventure. Briefly, Wilbur D. May was a resident of Reno for many years. He was a philanthropist as well as a rancher and world traveler. He left much of his collections from his many trips around the world to the people of Washoe County.

Sierra Safari Zoo
Sierra Safari has become a fixture of the Reno Sparks community over the last twenty years. Though small it has become the largest zoo in Nevada, with over two-hundred animals of over forty different species. The zoo educates and entertains young and old alike. Some unusual animals reside at the zoo, Sloths, Lemurs, Zebras, Camels, Cavies, and Leopards. The zoo boasts six kinds of monkeys and eight kinds of wild cat including Lions and Tigers. “My dream was to bring the animals I loved together with the children of the area to promote empathy for animals everywhere. "

Sparks Heritage Museum
The official museum of Sparks embraces our Western heritage containing many exhibits and era pieces from Nevada's early days. From authentic heirlooms to a special exhibit on the Space Age, the Sparks Heritage Museum is sure to please visitors of all ages. Also on display is the old No. # 8 train located at Victorian Ave. & Pyramid highway, as well as the historic Glendale School House first constructed in 1864.
