Listen to Legislators from the Assembly and the Senate discuss legislative priorities for the 75th Legislative Session and the impact those priorities may have on workplace law and employers.

Hear from veteran lobbyists regarding the top five proposed changes to Employment and Labor law in Nevada and how you can get involved in the legislative process to influence the legislative process.

Michael Tanchek, Nevada Labor Commissioner, will update attendees on what his office will be focused on in ’09.
1:15 – 3:30 – The First 100 Days
A dynamic panel of government affairs experts from the US Chamber, SHRM and ABC will be on hand to discuss what can be expected during the first 100 days of the President Obama administration with respect to labor and employment legislative initiatives.  Among the many topics to be discussed:

Make a Difference Drive to Benefit Local Victims of Domestic Violence

Molly Maid and the Ms. Molly Foundation are sponsoring the 12th annual Making a Difference Drive. In 2007, the drive raised more than $100,000 to support local shelters and safe houses.

During the month of October, a portion of the service fee for every home Molly Maid cleans will go to assist the local shelters and safe houses like CAAW and Safe Embrace.
