The Chamber will host its first “Improve Your Business by Leaps and Bounds” Membership Drive Wednesday, February 29, 2012, from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. hosted at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. The membership drive will introduce prospective members to the benefits that The Chamber has to offer.

This year’s membership drive, sponsored by The Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, will be a fun filled evening of food, drink and networking as well as prizes for members and non-members alike. We are asking that all current members bring a non-member to attend this event as their guest and learn about what The Chamber can do for their business, however, non-member guests are welcome without a member host.

Event Title: Creating Breakthrough Relationships in Work and Life
Presenter: Kevin Ciccotti, CPCC, ACC

Description:    One of the biggest challenges in any of our lives is to recognize and then make changes to our behavioral patterns – especially the ones that no longer serve us. Those behaviors impact every facet of our lives and most certainly our relationships – both personal and professional. Unfortunately for many of us, we are not trained to see when we’re acting in ways that aren’t getting us the results we want. We typically tend to repeat the same behaviors over time and still expect that they will work for us “this time.”

In “Creating Breakthrough Relationships in Work and Life,” Kevin Ciccotti takes an in-depth look at how we develop our behaviors and patterns, how we use those patterns to meet our needs, and how to change them when they’re not working for us. He reveals the powerful forces at work in our lives that determine our thoughts, actions, and ultimately the course and quality of our relationships and our lives.

He will discuss the impact of Human Needs Psychology1, and 6 Basic Human Needs as well as the underlying strategies we use to meet our needs on a consistent basis. His talk also focuses on how our top two needs, also called our “Driving Needs,” influence and filter every single decision we make.

About the Presenter: 
Kevin Ciccotti, CPCC, ACC, has been a student of peak performance, interpersonal communication, and human behavior for more than 25 years. He was trained at The Coaches Training Institute, the world’s largest in-person coach training organization. Kevin also trained with the Robbins-Madanes Center for Strategic Intervention, founded by world-renowned human performance experts Anthony Robbins and Psychotherapist Cloe Madanes. He is certified by both CTI and the ICF, and is President of the Nevada Professional Coaches Association.

Kevin’s work focuses on creating and sustaining powerful relationships in all areas of life – from personal to professional. He emphasizes the role of Human Needs and Key Decisions in the way we create our beliefs and patterns, and how those impact the way we interact with the world around us. By understanding these dynamics, it’s like having a master key to unlock our understanding of human behavior and why people do the things they do.
